Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrades to items can be a great way to increase the value of your weapon and armor. Upgrades to common or magic gear are rarely worth it, as rare or unique items are likely to outperform them.
Upgrades can be added to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will increase the item gauge.
